Its been a while since my last figma and revoltech purchase as I am seriously running out of display space. I think I might have to slow down on my buying activities and focus on other things in life. Well, here is my latest Figma Kamen Rider Wing Knight & SCI-FI Revoltech Series No.030 Transformers Optimus Prime Delivery Review. Imported them from Japan and shipping took roughly 3 weeks.

Its time for another double bonanza delivery review of Figma + Nendoroid! We will be focusing on Figma Makinami Mari Illustrious & Nendoroid Saber Movable Edition. Here is an overview of the package from Japan.

Despite that, they do have several interesting items at bargain prices so it kind of balance out the delivery charges in the end. K-On & Alter Saber Figmas time! Better late than never I always say. I bought these from Amiami and their shipping charges still surprises me. I always opt for SAL shipping being the most economical but Amiami's shipping quote is still rather expensive. This will be my first order of S.H. Figuarts and di:stage product lines. I placed my order on Amiami Japan and it took over 4 weeks to arrive. Here is the overview of the shipping box.

For those who have been following this blog, you guys and gals might have known that I am a figma collector. To buy every release would be an overkill on my finances so I only tend to get those which are economically viable price wise or those that I have a strong affinity towards. This time it is the former as the figma Fate Testarossa was on sale. The package arrived after 3 weeks from PlayAsia and here is an overview.

Remember how my revoltech delivery arrived in ok condition last week? Well this week is going to get tougher. I was shocked when the postal staff handed me the delivery box during collection. Here is an overview of the delivery box. Just look how crumpled it is!

This is my first time ordering items online which uses fedex international economy as delivery method. I chose fedex international economy over SAL because when you reach a certain shipping weight SAL actually cost more than fedex. Shipping time was fast: got the delivery in less than a week! This is the first time I encounter such label packing method: affix a zip lock bag and seal the shipping documents inside.

The seller reused the packing box for a Panasonic SC-HC5-K compact stereo system to ship my orders.

I guess even by using fedex international economy the delivery box will also suffer some rough handling damage.

The envelope actually contains a copy of the shipping documentation which states some interesting points regarding the items:
- No commercial value
- Not for resell use
- Personal belongings
- Value for customs purpose only

Perhaps this is also a good way to avoid those unnecessary import taxes.

After removing the white envelope, you can catch a glimpse of the figma boxes.

While rummaging through the newspaper buffers, I found a pleasant surprise hidden within. At the back of the small packet is a thank you note with an indication of who the packer of this order is: Nakamura.

From the front you can see it is actually a free gift in the form of a Prism Ark mobile phone strap which is made out of rubbery material. Nice and cute^^

Also hidden within the newspaper buffers is a stack of colorful product leaflets.

I am not familiar with the Re-Ment line of collectibles but the Disney products sure looks cute!

I think there are more than 10 product leaflets in the stack.

After removing my figma Asakura Ryoko from the delivery box the wrapping paper was torn.

So I decided to remove the wrapping paper completely and take a frontal shot of the box of figma Asakura Ryoko.

My Love For Life Review

After months of hunting down for my limited Figma Reika I had finally acquired her through the help of an online acquaintance. He helped me to purchase from Amazon Japan and send the parcel to me via SAL. The SAL parcel arrived after 2 weeks since posting date and here is an overview of it.

Postage stamp. The Japan post office just ink stamp on a piece of white paper and affix it to the parcel using cello tape.

Underside view of the parcel. The parcel box was in a flimsy state when I received it and the clear cello tape sealing it was barely holding in place.

Box open shot. Good thing Amazon pack the same way as HLJ: seal the items in clear plastic backed by a hard cardboard and affix it to the packing box via packing glue.

After removing (gently prying off the sealed package off the glue) the contents, traces of the glue can be seen at the base of the parcel box.

I am very pleased with the delivery of my limited Figma Reika figures. They are too precious to take out from the box for now so I will keep them sealed until I can no longer fight off the urge to unbox her and review her thoroughly ^^.
