Its been a while since my last figma and revoltech purchase as I am seriously running out of display space. I think I might have to slow down on my buying activities and focus on other things in life. Well, here is my latest Figma Kamen Rider Wing Knight & SCI-FI Revoltech Series No.030 Transformers Optimus Prime Delivery Review. Imported them from Japan and shipping took roughly 3 weeks.

I have always been an avid fan of the Macross franchise. But when most reviews of the Revoltech Three-stage Transformation Valkyries are unfavorable, they restrained my urge from buying it. But when I saw the last item of the Revoltech Three-stage Transformation Valkyrie VF-1S on discount, I jumped the gun and bought it together with the Play Arts Kai Bayonetta. It is time for another delivery review of a rare and much sought after item: Revoltech Queen's Blade Cattleya. Amiami did change their shipping policy to match that of HLJ's so now they do not impose extra handling fees for international SAL orders anymore. I ordered a few collectibles from Amazon via a proxy seller in Japan and this business of ordering via proxy is definitely going to cost more. Since Amazon Japan does not deliver internationally, proxy service is currently the only viable method for buyers outside of Japan. That is unless you have friends or family staying in Japan. Here comes my delivery review of one of the classic revoltech releases from the Detroit Metal City series. I got the postal notice after 3 weeks of waiting for my order to arrive from Hong Kong. Here is an overview of the delivery box.

I was browsing the classifieds section of my regular forum and came across someone who was selling off some of his collectible figures. He was selling off his Revoltech Fraulein Asahina Mikuru for less than half the original price. It was stated that the condition of the item was rated 8/10 so without asking for actual pictures of the Revoltech Fraulein Asahina Mikuru I confirmed my purchase with the seller. My first mistake there. Well the seller sent me a shipping notification and after 20 days I was anxious to find out why my item has not reached me yet.

So off I went to the post office only to find out that the seller has used surface/seal mail to deliver my item. I was told that ETA was over a month. Sure enough, after waiting for over 5 weeks I finally got the postal collection notice. Honestly speaking, I wasn't pleased at all when I got my hands on the package. This Fraulein Revoltech Rei Ayanami Bandaged Ver and Trading Figure Delivery came from PA in Hong Kong. I actually got Rei because she was the weekly special and topped her off with a 3D Design trading figure of the Neosphere of the Deep-blue Sky. Remember how my revoltech delivery arrived in ok condition last week? Well this week is going to get tougher. I was shocked when the postal staff handed me the delivery box during collection. Here is an overview of the delivery box. Just look how crumpled it is!

This week I am posting my Revoltech Enki Delivery Review which is also from the anime Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. I got this from a Hong Kong seller so I was expecting to receive a green parcel. After waiting for more than 3 weeks I got a brown cardboard parcel box instead. Here is the overview of the parcel box.

Last week I wrote about the Revoltech Gurren Lagann Delivery Review, this week I will be focusing on the Revoltech Gurren Lagann Fulldrillized Delivery Review. This Revoltech Gurren Lagann Fulldrillized is basically a powered up version of the Revoltech Gurren Lagann. I ordered this from a Hong Kong seller and it arrived after about 3 weeks of waiting. Here is an overview of the delivery parcel. Notice how it is also wrapped in green wrapping paper.

The parcel looks rather flimsy with the bare minimum packing.

Some tear can be seen on the green wrapping paper.

The customs declaration form cn22 is affixed on the side of the parcel which is quite an odd arrangement.

The rear view of the parcel still in bubble wrap shows that only the front side of the parcel is protected by a piece of hard cardboard.

On closer inspection, it seems the rear side of the packing box has sustained several delivery damage caused by rough handling.

This is the hard cardboard used to protect the front side of the packing box. It is quite durable and well made. Too bad the seller didn't use another to protect the rear side of the packing box.

My Love For Life Review

I think we all have something that we wanted to buy but later convinced ourselves that we can do without it. And in the end, we are faced with regret and disappointment. I went through the exact routine when the Revoltech Gurren Lagann was first released. I hesitated to make my purchase and later found out it was sold out already. Luckily for me, after nearly 3 years of searching I finally found a MISB Revoltech Gurren Lagann from a reputable seller and quickly sealed the deal this time. Since the seller used domestic post express I got my Revoltech Gurren Lagann within 4 days of waiting. Here is the overview of the parcel.

The parcel box feels like it is constructed out of sturdy cardboard hence there are no worries about postal damage inflicted upon the content inside.

All in all I am rather pleased with the delivery of the Revoltech Gurren Lagann. It arrived in a speedy manner and in good condition.

My Love For Life Review

I was curious about the vocaloid nendoroid petit set and what makes them so popular among collectors so I decided to get one and experience it hands on. In addition, I went and got a few more revoltech figures to add to my collection. The shipment took over 3 weeks to arrive from Japan. Here is the overview of the parcel box.

From this angle, you can see a major dent at the right side of the box.

At this point, I just hoped that the contents were still intact.

I cant help but notice how flimsy and thin the parcel box is. Here is a closeup on the folding crevasse of the parcel box which has some of the content exposed. Talk about the lack of proper buffer material...

There is even a tear at one side of the parcel box.

Thank goodness that my items were not damaged. But Playasia should seriously revamp their packing boxes to the standard of HLJ.
