Sunshine Movie Review

Sunshine was released in the cinemas on July 20, 2007. Sunshine is a suspence sci-fi movie directed by Danny Boyle based on a screenplay written by Alex Garland.

With an international cast including Rose Byrne, Chris Evans, Hiroyuki Sanada, Benedict Wong and Michelle Yeoh, Sunshine tells the story of how a spaceship with a crew of 8 is trying to reignite the Earth's diminishing sun in the year 2057. Standard "trapped in space with no where to escape while trying to save the world" fan fare is in play here.

Sunshine is an average suspence sci-fi movie at its best but with the recent shortage of space sci-fi movie releases, Sunshine is able to satisfy the demand.
