I ordered the Robot Damashii Crossbone Gundam X-1 for my friend Thaddeus and it finally arrived after nearly 3 weeks of waiting. From my previous experience of getting deliveries from Hong Kong, this parcel is also wrapped with green wrapping paper. It is also a nice touch that the seller used conventional postage stamps instead of the post office postage paid labels. Here is the overview of the parcel.

After removing the outer layer of green wrapping paper, this is what I got. Good to know the seller buffered the Robot Damashii Crossbone Gundam X-1 with cardboard.

And within the cardboard buffer is a layer of bubble wrap. Nice!

This is how the cardboard buffer layer looks like once spreaded out. Kudos to the seller for taking the extra step to make a custom cardboard buffer layer.

It is a shame that the window of the packing box of the Robot Damashii Crossbone Gundam X-1 sustained some cracks. Not sure whether this preexist before the delivery.

I just wished that the packing box of the Robot Damashii Crossbone Gundam X-1 would be in good condition upon arrival since I got this for my friend Thaddeus. It is just disappointing to see some damage on the packing box window.

The Robot Damashii 00 Gundam Seven Sword was very popular when it first came out. It was sold out at most places and most had to wait for a re-release. Luckily I managed to snag one for my friend Thaddeus from my regular supplier and after 3 weeks of waiting my parcel has finally arrived.

The parcel box looked worn out due to the rough postal handling during shipment.

The Robot Damashii 00 Gundam Seven Sword arrived in generally good condition apart from some minor indents on the back side of the packing box. It would be a huge improvement if a piece of hard cardboard was used to guard the item from any indents caused by rough handling.

My Love For Life Review

I was curious about the vocaloid nendoroid petit set and what makes them so popular among collectors so I decided to get one and experience it hands on. In addition, I went and got a few more revoltech figures to add to my collection. The shipment took over 3 weeks to arrive from Japan. Here is the overview of the parcel box.

From this angle, you can see a major dent at the right side of the box.

At this point, I just hoped that the contents were still intact.

I cant help but notice how flimsy and thin the parcel box is. Here is a closeup on the folding crevasse of the parcel box which has some of the content exposed. Talk about the lack of proper buffer material...

There is even a tear at one side of the parcel box.

Thank goodness that my items were not damaged. But Playasia should seriously revamp their packing boxes to the standard of HLJ.

My Love For Life Review

Here comes another impulse buy: my first Square Enix Play Arts action figure! I was contemplating on spending my hard earned money on this purchase for a few days already until I finally committed on the last available stock. After more than 3 weeks of waiting from the date of delivery, my order has finally arrived. This Play Arts set has the biggest box size in my current collection. Here is the overview of the delivery box.

After carefully removing the packing pallets, the rear view of the box of the Final Fantasy VII Play Arts Vol. 1: Cloud Strife & Hardy Daytona can be seen. There is no buffer for the other sides of the box apart from the top due to the snug fit of the content.

Here is a size comparison between the Final Fantasy VII Play Arts Vol. 1: Cloud Strife & Hardy Daytona and the delivery box which is almost similar in dimension.

I am glad that I purchased this Play Arts set. It was on sale at 40% discount and the paint job on Hardy Daytona is amazing to say the least. It is a shame that the item arrived with several postal damage on the box though.
