Blood And Chocolate Movie Review
Released on January 26, 2007, Blood And Chocolate is a movie based on the young adult novel of the same name written by Annette Curtis Klause. Blood And Chocolate was later released on DVD on June 11, 2007.
Blood And Chocolate is about the forbidden love between a human man and a female werewolf (werewolves are called loup-garou in the novel and the movie). Vivian, the female loup-garou fell in love with Aiden, an artist who coincidentally is researching the legend of the loup-garou. They faced fierce objections from the other loup-garou and physical conflicts eventually broke out.
Blood And Chocolate is like Underworld without the great action scenes and the superb performances from a stellar cast of actors. Blood And Chocolate leans more towards a Romeo & Juliet style plot but with werewolves and average looking special effects.

Code Name: The Cleaner Movie Review
Code Name: The Cleaner was released in the cinemas on January 5, 2007. This action comedy movie stars Cedric Antonio Kyles (Cedric the Entertainer), Lucy Liu and Nicollette Sheridan among others.
Here is the plot of Code Name: The Cleaner in a nutshell: amnesiac janitor Jake Rogers (Cedric Antonio Kyles) woke up with a dead body next to him in a hotel room. With various parties out to get him because he is the only person who knows the location of the stolen computer chip, Jake became unsure of who is friend or foe. Then he came in contact with Gina (Lucy Liu) who is an undercover FBI agent assigned to the case. The two then team up to uncover the case and locate the missing computer chip.
Code Name: The Cleaner is best as a cheesy action comedy film which does not take itself seriously. Do not expect much when watching Code Name: The Cleaner.

Kelly Clarkson: My December Music Review
Being the original American Idol, Kelly Clarkson has build up a remarkable career as a recording artist. Her much anticipated third studio album, My December will be released on June 26, 2007.
Every track in My December either has been written or co-written by Kelly Clarkson herself. My December is the first album that Kelly Clarkson has steered the musical direction of. Having heard My December for at least 10 times, I have to say that Kelly Clarkson has outdone herself yet again with another great album! Catch Me If You Can Movie Review
Catch Me If You Can was released in the cinemas on December 25, 2002. Based on the true life story written in a book by Frank Abagnale Jr. himself, Catch Me If You Can is directed by Steven Spielberg.
Catch Me If You Can chronicles Frank Abagnale Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio) as he tries to break free from the life of debt as he had witnessed from his father Frank Sr. (Christopher Walken) by forging bank cheques. Tom Hanks plays FBI agent Carl Hanratty who is hot on Frank Abagnale Jr.'s trail.
Catch Me If You Can is a mixture of drama, biography and crime genres. It is very interesting to watch as we see how DiCaprio quickly switched professions to impersonate (from being a pilot to a doctor to a lawyer!) while trying to throw Tom Hanks off his tail. Even though its dated (5 years ago), Catch Me If You Can is and always will be a great movie to watch.

Because I Said So Movie Review
Because I Said So was released in the cinemas on February 2, 2007. Because I Said So stars Diane Keaton and Mandy Moore as mother and daughter in this romantic comedy film.
In Because I Said So, Daphne (Diane Keaton) is a meddling overprotective mother who tries desperately to set her daughter Milly (Mandy Moore) up with the right man so that Milly won't end up in life following her footsteps. I have to say that Because I Said So is definitely a chic flick. Guys might watch it because Mandy Moore is in it. But the plot which centers around the mother-daughter relationship of Diane and Mandy might not be the cup of tea for most of the male demographic.
All in all, Because I Said So is a watchable movie, provided of course you got some spare time to spend on it. Possibly a good movie for couples to watch... maybe.

Caffeine Movie Review
Caffeine saw its limited cinema release on August 10, 2006. Caffeine is meant to be a comedy about human relationships, all taken place in fictional Black Cats Cafe somewhere in London.
Caffeine stars Mena Suvari, Katherine Heigl, Breckin Meyer and Mike Vogel among others. The plot centers around the relationship of the staffs working in Black Cats Cafe and also the visiting patrons. The situation in the cafe is almost always hectic with high emotions thrown into the mixture of the busy near chaotic conditions.
Caffeine is like the British take on the American movie "Waiting..." Caffeine is watchable on a boring evening when you got nothing better to do.

The Last Samurai Movie Review
The Last Samurai was released in the cinemas on December 5, 2003. Although its been 4 years since its release, The Last Samurai remains one of the better movies I have seen to date.
The Last Samurai stars Tom Cruise as an American soldier who got enlisted to aid in training the new modern Japanese Imperial Army to curbing the last resistance of the old Samurai factions of Japan. During the course of The Last Samurai, Nathan Algren (Tom Cruise) came in close contact with the Samurai way of living and faces personal and emotional conflicts in choosing sides. Evidently he stayed behind with the Samurai faction and saw the last battle through the end.
Tom Cruise has portrayed stellar performance in playing his character Nathan Algren in The Last Samurai. Let it be known that The Last Samurai refers to Katsumoto (Ken Watanabe) the leader of the Samurai faction, not Nathan Algren(Tom Cruise). The Last Samurai is a must watch for all (meeting the R MPAA rating) to see.

The Good German Movie Review
The Good German was released in the cinemas on December 8, 2006. It stars Tobey Maguire (Spiderman), George Clooney and Cate Blanchett. The Good German was nominated for an Academy Award for best feature film adaptation of a novel.
The whole movie is in black and white to depict the era of post World War 2. I'm not much into the Film Noir genre but I was compelled to watch The Good German because of its stellar castings. The Good German is basically about a murder investigation set in post-war Berlin where George Clooney is trying to find answers for a crime involving his driver, Tobey Maguire and his former mistress, Cate Blanchett.
The Good German is watchable but it could have been better. The pace of the film is a bit too slow for my taste, then again I am not too keen on the film noir genre.

Ghost Rider Movie Review
Ghost Rider was released in the cinemas on February 16, 2007. This superhero movie adaptation of the fictional Marvel Comics character Ghost Rider stars Nicolas Cage as Johnny Blaze/Ghost Rider and Eva Mendes as his romantic interest Roxanne Simpson.
Here is the Ghost Rider plot in a nutshell. Guy gave his soul to the devil to heal his father's chronic disease. The father recovered from the illness but then died in an accident during a bike stunt. Several years later, the devil returns to collect the debt from the guy: to become the Ghost Rider a.k.a. the devil's bounty hunter.
The major part of Ghost Rider is centering on the action sequences during the good-bad guy (Ghost Rider) vs the bad guy fights. The CGI effects is great, especially when Johnny Blaze transforms into the Ghost Rider. Ghost Rider is an OK movie, watch it if you got nothing better to watch.
