GHD Serpent Custom Gundam Model Kit Review
Finally! It has been quite a while since I posted the GHD NG 1/100 Serpent Custom Gundam Model Kit Assembly Video Review and now we get to see the actual review of the completed Gundam model kit. I was somewhat in a rush during the photo shoot session and had forgotten to include a comparison photo with my clear soda can like my previous TT Hongli HG Blaze Zaku Phantom Gundam Review. Well here is a frontal overview shot of the GHD Serpent Custom.

Arm and leg articulation range. I had to hold up the GHD Serpent Custom for this shot as the kit itself is very flimsy and cannot possibly support itself on one leg.
Closeup on the right shoulder. Notice how some paint chipped off at the white portion.
The shoulder part actually has a gimmick that slides open to reveal missile pods.

Articulation wise, the GHD Serpent Custom is very flimsy with loose joints. The plastic parts are molded with defects and lots of access plastics that I needed to shave off for a tighter fit during assembly. If I didn't spray paint the parts I doubt the GHD Serpent Custom would have any redeeming qualities at all.
The GHD Serpent Custom is OK for display in standby mode but once you try to pose it dynamically you will probably end up being frustrated with loose joints and limited articulation ranges. Luckily my sis got the GHD Serpent Custom from the bargain bin for about $5USD and I think that is a fair amount to pay to experiment on GHD Gundam model kits.
My Love For Life Gundam Review rating for GHD Serpent Custom: 1.5/5
