Arthur And The Invisibles (also known as Arthur And The Minimoys) is a movie adaptation of the 2002 children's book Arthur and the Minimoys. Released in the cinemas on January 12, 2007 Arthur and the Invisibles made its way onto DVD on May 15, 2007.
The story in Arthur and the Invisibles is conveyed through a mixture of live action and computer animation sequences. Arthur and the Invisibles tells an adventure story about 10 year old Arthur and his journey into the world of the Invisibles to find his grandfather's treasure in order to pay off his grandmother's mortgage.
The spirit of perseverance and standing up for oneself is depicted as the main message to viewers as Arthur overcomes hurdles and adversities in order to save both his grandparents' house and the city of the Invisibles. The computer animation in Arthur and the Invisibles has a great flair of artistic styling that is best suited to show the wonderful world of the Invisibles.
