Rush: Snakes & Arrows Music Review


Snakes & Arrows is Rush's eighteenth full-length studio album in almost 3 years. Snakes & Arrows was released on May 1, 2007.

Snakes & Arrows is the first ever album by Rush that contains three instrumental tracks which are Hope, The Main Monkey Business and Malignant Narcissism. In terms of musical direction, Rush have gone towards heavier rock styling in Snakes & Arrows. This is highlighted in the track Spindrift in Snakes & Arrows where pounding instrumental parts are utilised to recreate the sound of crashing waves.
