Epic Movie Movie Review
Epic Movie was released in theaters and cinemas everywhere on January 26, 2007. Epic Movie is meant to be a comedy movie which spoofs successful epic films of the year 2005 and 2006. Film plots spoofed in Epic Movie includes Harry Potter, The X-Men, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Chronicles of Narnia, Nacho Libre, The Da Vinci Code, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Superman Returns, Snakes on a Plane, Mission Impossible 3, The Fast and the Furious, Click, Star Wars and surprisingly Borat.
With a budget of $20 million, Epic Movie manages to capture the essence of the original epic films and make them hilariously funny. Please be advised that Epic Movie is rated PG-13 for crude and sexual humor, language and some comic violence. If you have seen all or most of the original epic films that Epic Movie spoofs, I highly recommend that you watch Epic Movie and get a couple of good laughs out of it.
